Senior Workday HRIM Analyst (HCM)

As a member of a global Workday team, my primary responsibility was to support the Workday rollout for the largest Revvity subsidiary, EuroImmun, for the Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) and Recruiting modules. The project was halted due to low acceptance by the subsidiary. The scope did not meet the needs, and there was minimal control and ownership over the final product. Eventually, it turned out that the local project team and I had insufficient control over the product's scope, quality, and thus the project's success.

Workday Analyst (HCM)

I started at Trusted Shops two weeks before our Workday Go Live with HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Core Compensation, and Recruiting in 6 countries. Since day one, I have been on a mission to solve the most critical issues that we had with our Launch implementation while setting in motion the required change and transformation.

At Workday, I learned the foundations of the Workday HCM solution and passed my HCM certification. As part of the DACH Large Enterprise Presales Team, I contributed to successful deals for accounts such as HeidelbergCement, Melitta, EWE, and Bofrost.

With over 7 years in sales roles, it became increasingly important to me to focus on designing solutions and processes and invest in long-term relationships. Since I had found in Workday a platform that fits my vision of modern and sustainable technology to an excellent degree, I felt ready to take the next step in my career and assume the role of an HR systems expert with a Workday client.

Entrepreneurship in DACH

Senior Strategic Account Executive

I joined SmartRecruiters in DACH on a blank slate with no pipeline and little local brand awareness. In my first year, I met 100% of my target by generating 15 new logos in the SMB and enterprise segments, including brands such as MisterSpex, BayWa, Gruner, Sedus, bene, medneo, McMakler and McDonald’s.

Given that the local team was in start-up mode and had not scaled up yet, I managed several additional marketing, pre-sales, and account management activities while maintaining a strong focus on my sales business.

  • 3 Mio. EUR lead and pipeline generation through my network, events, fairs, and professional networks
  • Lead qualification and nurturing of low-probability opportunities
  • Building strong relationships and rapport early on in the process through a sales consulting approach
  • Delivering target-group-specific value messages to prospects on the ROI and best use of the platform
  • Managing high-level demos, deep-dive sessions, and complex RfXs

In the absence of local pre-sales resources, I equipped the DACH team with localized best practice content, documents, scripts, and processes to manage engaging demonstrations of the SmartRecruiters platform.

Senior Solution Consultant

At Planview, I developed a much better understanding of how organizations manage their Strategic Planning, how they operate their strategic portfolios, and connect strategy and delivery. I gained knowledge about different types of work (e.g. Stage-Gate, Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and started my Lean and Agile Delivery journey focusing on Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. It was with a heavy heart that I decided to leave Planview, as I saw a unique opportunity in building the start-up organization at SmartRecruiters together with two of my friends.

At Talentsoft, I started establishing their market presence in the DACH region. Since then we managed to grow the team from 2 to 30 people and revenue by 50% - each year. DB Schenker, Flixbus, Kronospan, Galeria Kaufhof, and Schmolz + Bickenbach are just a few key brands I helped attract by providing a mix of proper needs qualification, process mapping, solution demonstration, consulting, and product management.
